Are static sites deployed to a CDN by default?

Hi y’all, first time render use, long time dev.

Are Static Sites by default deployed to the CDN? or must it be enabled? I ask because I am not seeing a difference in PageSpeed Insights score between a site deployed on Render vs the same site deployed on Heroku without a CDN enabled. I would expect to see SOME difference. Or is perhaps the deploy to onrender.com finished and then the CDN catches up a day or so later?

Hi Anthony, all static sites are served through the CDN by default. You do not have to do anything to enable it. Are you still seeing the same results?

Yes, I’m seeing a similar score. Heroku: 76, Render: 74. Maybe there’s something about the page that NO CDN will affect…?
