Is server caching available for Team Plan?

Currently I am using individual plan and my application is very slow due to initial load time speed. I wanted to know whether it would be fine if we get team plan. Can I know the caching duration and caching invalidation setup for team plan?

Can anyone give me suggestion for this?

Hi Ivin,

Using a team plan is not the solution here - this will be related to using free instance types and features that it has - notably here, sleeping after 15 minutes of inactivity https://render.com/docs/free - so all you need do here would be change the service to use a paid instance type and your service will run persistently.

To change the instance type, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to the service in our dashboard
  • Open the ‘settings’ tab
  • Click on the ‘Change Instance Type’ button
  • Select the instance type you wish to use (the minimum to avoid sleeping is Starter)
  • If you want to change back to the free instance type, repeat this process but select ‘free’
