Hello, I am using a free server. However, I often experience server disconnections, and I have to refresh the page each time it happens. To resolve this issue and keep the server running continuously, would it be possible to solve it by upgrading to a paid plan?
Yes you can upgrade the “Instance Type” in the Settings page of your Service to a paid one to make sure it’s always alive.
You don’t need to also be on a plan, the plans (Individual, Team Organisation, Enterprise) just give you access to some additional functions and features of Render and is an additional price to the “Compute” costs of each Service.
eg: I use the Individual Plan ($0) and run a Web Service using the free tier ($0), plus I have a Private Service that is $7/month
