Extra cost to Postgres read replica?

This wasn’t super clear to me from reading the docs, but is there an extra cost to adding a read replica to an existing Render Postgres db?

Say I pay $7/month for a starter db- is that $7 inclusive of a free read replica or is there an extra charge associated with adding one?

Any new resource added will be an additional cost I believe.

Hi there,
Correct, the replica is an additional resource so there’s a cost attached. But also, you can’t create a read replica on a starter DB plan, it has to be a Standard plan or above.
