This is more of a curiosity than an issue -
How do these builds work on render? Does the Docker build process use compute resources for the service in question? Referencing the attached screenshot, I am curious about the CPU/memory spike when a build is run.
Insight here is appreciated!

Builds are run on a separate resource, they should not impact the resources of your running service.
If you could share a service id and a deploy id, I’d be happy to dig in a bit more. Feel free to open a support ticket if you’re not comfortable sharing any of this information in a public forum.
