Custom Wildcard domain stuck in "Certificate Pending"

I added a custom domain to my site, and the www CNAME and A record work great at:
www.sudsifybetaor sudsifybeta

I added a wildcard domain at:
*.sudsifybeta.com

And it has the certificate status stuck at: Certificate Pending

When I try to navigate to the URL: https://app.sudsifybeta.com/, I get:
ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

I can verify that the DNS propagation is complete and that app.sudsifybeta points to my webservice here:

We noticed some instances of certs being slow to issue last week. I see that your cert has since been issued. We’re looking into the root cause of the delays.
