Custom Wildcard domain stuck in "Certificate Pending" ... again

I’m putting together a small proof of concept Rails 7 application and I’ve added a custom wildcard domain to it. The domain is verified but the certificate is still sitting stuck at Certificate Pending.

I’ve seen from previous posts that there has been an issue with this. How long should it typically take for a wildcard custom domain certificate to be issued?
