Custom domain not mapping

I have a custom domain added to one of our apps, the www version is working (shows domain verified and the SSL cert setup). However, the root domain is showing as DNS Update Required.

I have set up the ANAME/ALIAS record as shown (and have done this on several other apps on render) but it doesn’t seem to have been pick up yet. The change was made at DNS level over 48hrs ago and I have flushed the caches as recommended on the render documents.

Is this an issue somewhere at render?
The domain is storywars.net
The dns value shown on render is: story-wars-splash.onrender.com

Any help would be gratefully received.

Hi @Ian_Garland, I will take a look and get back to you asap.

@Ian_Garland, it seems like your DNS provider is resolving the ANAME/ALIAS record to an A record in a different manner from what we expect. I’ll follow up in a DM for more details. As a workaround, you could use an A record to 216.24.57.1 for now.
