I’m running a web service in Oregon and I need to call out to some other GCP services. It will lower my bill if I can colocate these services to the same zone as my service - is there a way to determine which zone in us-west1 it’s running in?

We could look it up for you, but the zone would be liable to change when you re-deploy your Render service or when we perform routine maintenance. I’d encourage you to add a feature request on our feedback page for services that stay in the same known zone across deploys.
