Requests calling '127.0.0.1' in prod and crashing

My prod app is calling GET requests from my local: 127.0.0.1, so doesn’t successfully make calls.

The request paths in the code have been changed from 127.0.0.1/api/<request> → /api/<request> with no effect.

What could be happening here?
