We are currently experiencing multiple service interruptions from what appear to be DNS issues. Specifically on services where we have not deployed any updates … all of a sudden outbound DNS requests are failing.
I do see that the status page now mentions Github deployment issues. However we are experiencing issues across any service that is attempting to make an outbound DNS request.
FYI things are back up and running. Whatever the fix was got things working again. It’d be great if we had some insight into exactly what the DNS issue was. This is the second time in a few weeks we’ve experienced this issue.

Our apologies for the disruption. Our DNS systems did not scale as expected in response to increased traffic; we scaled them up manually to fix the immediate issue. We’re still investigating the issue to determine the root cause.
