Has anyone set up an OpenTelemetry Collector on Render? Are there any examples we can follow about how to do this?
Hello Connor - we don’t currently have any docs or examples on how to get started with OpenTelemetry. However, if you follow the ‘Getting Started’ guide from the repo you linked to, you should be able to configure any setup you can get working locally to be hosted on Render as well.
hello Connor. Did you have any success on running otel collectors on render.com?
I have a collector running as a render free service but for some reason requests don’t reach it out (I’m using an otpl receiver with http, which might be a different case than you had 2 years ago).
