Looks like Safari is expecting the server to respond to byte-range requests, but the site doesn’t do that. Because of this, any mp4 video file in a static site hosted on Render doesn’t load in Safari. Is there a workaround for this issue?

I took a look at your site, and see that you deployed a change to use an external MP4 URL to work around this issue. I also saw that there was a misconfiguration on our side that was preventing range requests from working for your service, which I’ve fixed, and I’ve confirmed that Safari is now correctly loading the video.
You should be able to revert the change and use the original MP4 URL correctly on Safari. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
