Given the most recent outage, we are exploring some options of how to handle this type of issue later.
One question for today’s outage is that whether ‘high availaibility’ worked or not.
Was it failing for entire database services? Or, will we be saved if we used the ‘high availability’ option?

Given the broad impact this incident had, high availability would not have provided any benefit. It impacted all our regions and all our clusters. We are working to publish a detailed breakdown of the incident
