Have to clear cache and manual deploy every time

Hi!

Just starting out with a Rails 7, Redis, Postgresql and Background Worker for Sidekiq. Every time the system automatically deploys, it hangs on deploying and then says Failed.

Jul 5 03:26:14 PM  ==> Uploading build...
Jul 5 03:26:27 PM  ==> Build successful 🎉
Jul 5 03:26:27 PM  ==> Deploying...

I see others have had this problem. Any idea how to fix it? It’s just the web app (Rails 7) , BG worker is fine.

We don’t currently have a way to clear build cache and deploy on every deploy, but it’s possible there are other issues at play here. Could you let us know the email address associated with your Render account, and the service you’re seeing this behavior on? Feel free to email this to support@render.com.
