DNS configuration on ipage

Hi. I’ve followed the custom domain process and still cannot make it work.

I’ve added:

1. “A” record for * and @ pointing to 216.24.57.1
2. “CNAME” record for www to xxx.onrender.com

The A record is not digested and the CNAME was verified but now says Certificate Error.

Please advise.

the issue seems to be resolving itself after waiting for DNS propagation

Glad to hear the issue resolved itself.

Initial DNS propagation/certificate issuance can take a little while in some cases.
