The free instance type (e.g., 512MB RAM / 0.1 CPU)

Hello Render Support Team,

I have recently added my credit card to my account for verification. However, the free instance type (e.g., 512MB RAM / 0.1 CPU) is still not appearing in the options when I try to create a new background worker service, even after refreshing the page and logging out/in.

Could you please assist me in enabling the free plan or explain why it’s not showing up? I am trying to deploy a simple Python Telegram bot and believe the free tier should be sufficient for testing.

We do not provide a free background worker - it’s only web/postgres/redis that we allow for free,
