We’re using log streams to pipe our logs to Datadog. Currently the syslog appname is set to a (presumably) Render-generated unique name, web-<5 random letters>. Is it possible to configure the syslog appname? Datadog uses this value for the service’s name, which in the current state makes it useless and forces us to filter by hostname our-service-* to get logs for our service.
Currently the service slug generated by Render and sent to the syslog endpoint is not configurable. Please feel free to submit that to feedback.render.com so that you can receive updates and help us prioritize that feature.
