I am trying to run a node server but the service is starting twice whenever i deploy the application.

It seems like you’re running a bot on Render, and there are some important things to keep in mind. Bots are best deployed using a Background Worker, which runs persistently in the background without exposing any web server. However, this service type isn’t available for free instance types. Running a bot via a Web Service may cause deployment failures or result in rate-limiting issues from Discord due to how traffic leaves our services.
