i recently deployed my website but the word navbar is showing but the links to other pages is not there does anyone know how i can fix this>
i know its not my code because it works on a non production site.

Hi there,

Most of these kind of problems boil down to configuration differences between your local environment and the Render environment. I recommend reading through our troubleshooting guide and ensuring the guidance in there is followed: https://docs.render.com/troubleshooting-deploys

If none of those suggestions help, feel free to reach back out and we will be happy to take a closer look.

Thank you for the info but unfortunately there is no mention of navbar I was wondering if your site works with base . HTML as this is where my navbar lives

Hi there,

Yes, Render has no problem with HTML. It sounds like this is a Static Site? If so, be sure that references to CSS files go exactly where they would appear in the Git repository relative to the root. Otherwise you will need to utilize redirects and/or rewrites: https://docs.render.com/redirects-rewrites
