I have a Started plan for n8n. I thought this plan wouldn’t restart the service after a period of inactivity, but it seems it does. It happened to me, and I’ve lost all my workflows. Am I right? Does the instance restart during periods of inactivity?
Only free instances type idle when there is no activity.
Paid instances can be cycled for maintenance and anything written to the file system would be lost. We have a guide at Deploy n8n on Render – Render Docs which details 2 setup options that would prevent data being lost,
