Google prioritizing <project>.onrender.com instead of the custom domain I provided

Hello, I’m trying to figure out if I’m doing something wrong. I set up https://docs.parabeac.com/docs/hello-world-guide but if you google Parabeac Hello World guide, the first thing that comes up is https://parabeac-docs-site.onrender.com/docs/hello-world-guide.

Any thoughts here? The intention is for Google to prioritze the actual docs site over onrender link or just not show the onrender link altogether.

you have to add nofollow tag to your onerender site robots.txt

almost the performance if onerender gave the priority to it

Hi there,
We have a feature request for this at https://feedback.render.com/features/p/disableredirectadd-noindex-headers-for-onrendercom-urls

It’s not possible to control this behaviour via robots.txt because you want it present on the primary domain but not the onrender.com. You may find that you could request the onrender.com version to be unindexed via Google Search console.
