Github LFS reporting huge bandwidth compared to render

Hi! I just launched my website today. The website is actually a whole book, the project over at github is pretty large (3.7GB). All the images and videos are hosted via Github LFS.

Somehow, this one day alone (with not many users), github LFS has used a whopping 47.8GB’s of bandwidth, where render metrics is only reporting 428Mb

This could quickly get incredibly expensive. What do i do?

Thanks for reaching out.

I think your GitHub LFS bandwidth may be counting each time you deploy and Render downloads the whole 3.7GB project.

The Render bandwidth would report how much data is being served to visitors to the Web Service itself, and not related to GitHub directly.
