Favicon .ico file doesn't render and seems to be amlformed

Hi there,

I’ve successfully (mostly) deployed a PERN application via Render: https://pern-photo-gallery.onrender.com/

Everything seems to be working except for the favicon: https://pern-photo-gallery.onrender.com/favicon.ico

This is working fine in my local development environment. Is this a bug/limitation of Render or something else that I’m missing?

Hi,

I’m seeing the favicon.ico render correctly in a browser tab, but the mime type appears to be a little off (text/plain), making direct requests in some browsers appear as you’ve shared.

I’ll speak to the team, but I’d be curious to know if you’re seeing that as an issue anywhere else apart from hitting it directly?

We’ve just pushed out a fix for this, it should be all sorted now,

Thanks both, looks good now! It was an issue in the Chrome tab as well as I recall, but all fixed now :+1:
