Does starter instance type have 24/7 site uptime?

Hi guys,

I’m a free instance user at the moment and so sites go down after 15 mins of inactivity.

I want my sites to be live 24/7 so I tried to set up health check but it doesn’t seem to work.

If I change to starter instance type (7$ per month), do my sites have 24/7 uptime automatically? If so, do I still need to set up health check after I’m changed to starter instance type?

Hi there,

Only our free instance types sleep due to inactivity, the health check does not prevent a site from sleeping.

Changing to a paid instance type will prevent your service from sleep. The health check is to ensure that your service is returning an http response.
