I can’t connect deploy from Gitlab anymore on a specific project :
fatal: could not read Username for 'https://gitlab.com': terminal prompts disabled
I tried reconnecting to Gitlab by creating a new project, the new project can connect to Gitlab fine but it doesn’t solve the issue on my main project. Setup on Gitlab seems right as well, api access and webhook configured on the repo.
Can you check on your end ? Thank you.
Did this resolve itself? I don’t see any services in your account failing to deploy?
I am seeing exactly the same thing right now:
Oct 17 09:20:33 AM ==> It looks like we don’t have access to your repo, but we’ll try to clone it anyway.

@HonzaSterba Have you contacted us directly already? Happy to get this sorted for you if you have already provided us details somewhere,
@HonzaSterba ah, I’ve found your ticket. Looking now.
Just to close this out - error messages like this, seen when deploying are the result of the original creator of the service being removed from either the Render team or the Git(hub/lab) team and when we try and clone the repo we’re unable to.
We are working on a fix for this as it’s a very common occurrence but in the meantime, if you experience this we can get this sorted quickly for you, just contact the support team via firstname.lastname@example.org and let them know the details.
Hi @John_B thanks for helping me resolve this quickly. It was quite a stressful weekend.
