Unable to pay bills in India

Render is losing a lot of customers just because of the payment gaps, either I am wrong or there is a major update from the payment gateway’s side, please check it, I am having a major launch tomorrow but unable to revamp my render or I have to change the service provider ( which I don’t want you )

Hey,

I see that you’ve already initiated a support ticket with us. To avoid any confusion or duplicate efforts, let’s continue the conversation there

Same issue here . If there is any way for people in India like me to pay the bill. Please let me know.

Hi there,

We’re most definitely aware of the problem, which stemmed from the RBI’s changes to limit recurring credit transactions and now require the use of mandates. We’ve not implemented this in the product yet.

However, we always send invoices/charges on the 1st of a month for usage in the previous month. You’ll find the invoice listed in the billing section of the dashboard.

From the three dots on the right side, you’ll see a Pay Now option, which will take you to our payment processor site and allow you to pay the invoice directly. You would need to manually perform these steps each month.

We appreciate this isn’t an ideal situation but it’s the best we can offer.

I did the same. I tried with 3 cards enabling international payments but it’s showing your card has been declined. What should I do?

Im from india too. Did you able to solve this issue ?? Please let me know

Yes, for all those in India facing the same issue, you would first need to allow international transactions for your card, once this is done a 1$ trial payment would be initiated. The payment on monthly basis would not take place due to the rules by RBI but after each cycle ( ie one month ) you would need to pay it manually by entering card details ( atleast this is what worked for me )|

List of supported cards here:

Also a suggestion for engineering team at render:
Please try to change your payment gateway from stripe to any other ( Which might support UPI as well ) India uses UPI a lot and render has a very good product which is useful for many companies in India, you would definitely see rise in your sales in india if you are able to modify your payment modes a bit

Where the $1 trial payment need to be done ?? in stripe ??
Can you provide the exact link oor the steps to to pay there , it would be helpful.
The render team in not helping me with the issue
