SSL Error - got to put something here

When I type in https://newsin.it, I get this error:

This site can’t provide a secure connection

newsin.it uses an unsupported protocol.

ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

When I type in https://www.newsin.it, there is no error.

Why?

It looks like there was a problem renewing your certificate on our end. I was able to manually address it and the domain is now working. We will look into the root cause of this issue to prevent it from reoccurring. Sorry for the disruption.

Hello @jake! I have the same problem too.

@jake I’m also now having this issue. How can we prevent this from reoccurring? Were there any findings as to the root issue?

Edit: it took several hours, but my site does seem to be back up. Still not sure what the cause was.

Hello, I’m getting this for a brand-new domain alias, api3.fabrica.land. I verified the CNAME and DNS propagation from my machine: it resolves to fabrica-v3.onrender.com. This web service has two other domain aliases which are working just peachy. Could this be a caching issue with CloudFlare or something? Perhaps you need to add an API call to invalidate the CDN cache when issuing a new certificate?

This seems to have resolved itself after a few minutes.

Hi @jake, I’m getting the same error too

Hi! I am having this error too, what can we do?

Yes, same here.

It was working perfectly before March.

I’ve tried to following instruction re-do the A record, but no difference.

https://www.alpacastudio.link/ works no problem, but https://alpacastudio.link/ resulting in issue.

Firefox complains Error code: SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP
Chrome complains ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH
