Hello, I have a question for the community. I deployed my MERN stack website on Render.com and selected the free instance option, but at the end, it asked for a card and some money was deducted from my account. I would like to know if this charge will be deducted every time I select the free hosting option, or was it just for card verification, and will it be refunded after some time?
The modal window would probably have said ‘for verification’ - if it was a verification, no money is actually deducted, the transaction is cancelled and it’s like it never happened, although some banks may show it but it will disappear.
