I just installed self-hosted ghost and getting a banner saying " Critical security update available — please update Ghost as soon as possible".
I see that the repo you use for the Ghost setup is 5 months old. Is there a way to update it?

In general, we recommend forking these repos, as opposed to deploying directly from the public example.
This lets you opt-in to any updates at a time that makes the most sense for you. Both to stay as up-to-date as possible and to avoid breaking your service if the example repo update includes a breaking change.
In any event, I’ve submitted a Pull Request to bump the minor version used in the example. You can follow that to see when it’s merged into master.
