How long is the trial period for?

Hello,
How long is the trial period for?
If I decide to build a web project using Golang, not a static website but running the web server binary itself, are the files need to be stored in a GitHub repo or I can get SSH access and deploy the app on the Render server? I mean for a $7/month account.

Hi Zoltan,

The trial period lasts one week, starting from the time when you create your account. The files need to be stored in a GitHub or GitLab repo. We don’t currently offer SSH access, but are planning to implement this functionality soon. I encourage you to upvote this feature request on our feedback page to be notified when SSH becomes available: Ability to SSH into instances | Feature Requests | Render. In the meantime you can get shell access to your server instance from the Shell tab in the Render dashboard.
