Facing slow downloading speed in render Singapore server before it use to give 500ms speed but now only 20 ms on 8 core server and also the cores are less I think while deploying I took 8 core server but I don’t think I got 8 core server do you have any solution ?
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching.
Apologies, I’m not sure I understand, you’ve given millisecond units, maybe you meant Mbps or MBps? I don’t think the cores of a machine would have too much bearing on the network connection speed.
If you could share some specific examples of the issue you are experiencing that may help us troubleshoot it with you, e.g. comparison logs/errors/output, commands being run, what is specifically being downloaded, from where, service ID, reproduction steps, screenshots, etc. If you don’t want to share these details on the community forum, please feel free to raise a ticket with support@render.com
Kind regards
Alan
I’ve deployed a Rails 7 app on a free plan, today, and was wondering if this level of slowness was intentional? I really cant do a demo while it’s slow like this. Is this a known issue?
Hi @SylarRuby,
It appears the original commenter on this post marked it as solved, please could you start a new topic with your particular issue, including some more detail.
If you could share some specific examples of the slowness you are experiencing that may help us troubleshoot it with you, e.g. where is the slowness? builds? requests? any logs/errors/output to show what you’re seeing, any comparison data, specific URLs, service name/ID, reproduction steps, screenshots, etc. However, if you don’t want to share these details on the community forum, please feel free to raise a ticket with support@render.com
Thanks
5 days now, no response from support regarding the painfully slow load time for the free plan.
I responded just after your last messaging asking for more details in a new topic or ticket. I see you opened a new topic a few minutes ago. We’ll take a look ASAP.
