Connection to Cloud MYSQL

when try to submit registration data to mysql database from planetscale i get the following on the web-browser " Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there is an error in the application."

when i checked the render event log i am having this “Can’t connect to local MySQL server through socket ‘/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock’ (2).”

i am wondering why it has to be Local MYSQL when i am using planet scale and i was giving an aws db which is cloud

Posting more context from the service logs might be helpful to see what’s going on.

Could you also check how you’re connecting your MySQL client to ensure you’re passing it PlanetScale credentials?
