No logs are displayed and the deployment fails after a few minutes.
Also, if the deployment fails, you will see the logs.

I have the same problem. But I never see logs. Also I have been trying to deploy my first web service so there was never a successful deploy to begin with.

Clearing the build cache caused the same problem.

It turns out that if there are no errors, the deployment will be in the Live state. (I can’t see the log)
We presently have a long running incident related to logging (https://status.render.com/incidents/vqzrdr6j7w2x) that we are working to resolve. This impacts a subset of customers.
