Ruby on Rails not connecting to cable, wss

Hi there!

I deployed a Ruby on Rails app yesterday and the app cannot connect to the websocket, wss://my-domain.com.

Ruby version: 3.0.2
Rails version: 6.1.4

Rails, ActionCable and WebSockets

Hey there! I’m trying to run a Rails application which aside from other functionality is also using WebSockets. Though I get an error when trying to connect to wss://my-domain.com (application hosted on render.com). Do I have to do any specific configuration to allow this? And by the way, there’s no Slack support anymore on Render.com? Thank you!

Hi @rcassity,

I am happy to take a look at that for you, what server is having an issue? Also, I did some digging around about that error and it is possibly isolated to Firefox. Are you able to repeat that behavior on another browser?
