More control over Preview Environment in Pull Request

Hello,

Is there any way to have more control over when the Preview Environment is deployed in Github Pull Requests?

Sometimes we don’t want to have a preview when opening the PR (or no preview at all).

It would be great to be able to ask the bot to deploy/destroy the environment using tags or comments in the PR.

Thanks Stefan. Is there any ETA for this feature as it’s a rather important one in term of cost management. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I think the API will be enough for my use cases if those functions are available : Create temporary resources on external services - #5 by jgoux

If you’re asking me, I don’t know, sorry. I am not a Render employee. I just browse the feedback.render.com a lot.

Hey @jgoux and @stefan.luptak, no ETA but I agree that it’s an important feature. We’ll do our best to ship this soon.
