We’re going to need some more information here to be able to assist. At a guess, I would say you may be writing files to the instance filesystem, which is ephemeral, meaning those files would be lost when on the next deploy. If this sounds like the case, you may want to look at Render Disks or external object stores like AWS S3.
If you could share a specific example of the issue you are experiencing that may help us troubleshoot it with you, e.g. any logs/errors/output, specific URLs, service name/ID, reproduction steps, screenshots, etc. If you don’t want to share these details on the community forum, please feel free to raise a ticket with support@render.com

yes, you are right. media files are removed in deployment. thanks for your suggestion, I’ll switch external stores.
