Linking custom domain

I have a custom domain linked from godaddy that redirects to my render site. My DNS has been successfully verified and a certificate has been issued. However, when I type my custom domain url into the browser and it redirects to my render site, the url in the browser switches to the render url.

Is there a way to make it stay as my custom domain in the address bar? It’s not a huge deal but it just looks better when visiting my site for it to have my domain and not renders domain.

That is probably happening before the request arrives at us and is being redirected at Godaddy, perhaps via domain forwarding.

It’s hard to diagnose without the actual domain to confirm what the exact issue is.
