Deploying custom .ro domain

Hello!

I am trying to connect my website to a domain I bought from rotld.ro (official provider for Romania, I think the only one but I’ve no idea how this stuff works).

I did read the docs but on rotld there’s no mention of A, CNAME, ANAME and whatever other stuff is mentioned. This is all I have.

There’s also a list of nameservers I can add but this forum will only allow me to add a single picture. I added https://techpay-ro.onrender.com as ns1.

Does anyone have any idea what to do here? I tried to create ns1.techpay.ro and use the IP provided by Render, as well as just using my render link as a nameserver (I have no idea what a nameserver is) and none of it seems to work.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for reaching out.

If your domain registrar doesn’t provide nameservers you would need to sign up with a DNS provider to be able to fill in those details for your domain, e.g. Cloudflare, DNSimple, DNSMadeEasy, etc. Once you have a DNS provider and have set the two nameservers on your domain, you can setup the A/CNAME records as required for your service on Render.
