Blank sreen on browser reload with react

Hi

For reasons that escape me, I get a blank page whenever I reload the browser or I manually enter the url in the browser text field for my react rest api. This behavior does not occur on the homepage though. It only happens with end routes ( ex. myapp/login).
I added a rewrite rule (source: /*, destination: index.html) as was recommended in a previous thread.
It seems like a rewriting/redirection problem, but this solution didn’t solve my problem.
Any other ideas on what the problem could be?
